The Karrasch Family Central Rowing Club Collection documents the activities of the Central Rowing Club, where Hermann Karrasch was caretaker of the clubhouse. The carbon copy of the teletype measures 1’ wide by 5’ long. It presents the news of Kennedy’s assassination as the story unfolded in Dallas. It also includes the preceding portion of the day’s wire relaying events that occurred before the breaking news of the shooting.
