Henry Lyon Naturalization Document
This collection is comprised of the naturalization document issued to Henry Lyon by the Clerk of the St. Louis Circuit Court on 4 April 1857, Stephen Rice. Lyon applied for citizenship and proved to the court that he had been in the U.S. for five years, had lived in the state of Missouri for one year, renounced all foreign allegiances, and declared that he would support the Constitution of the United States.
