The Frederick Charles Helfesrieder diary contains information about his life and spending from January to October 1936. The diary also contains addresses of various people who lived in St. Louis. He talks about playing Monopoly with his family, visits to the movies and opera, going to Creve Coeur Lake, his time at night school at Washington University, and spending time with his girlfriend. He resided at 5227 Minerva Avenue.

Robert Smith Photograph Collection
The Robert Smith Photograph Collection includes photographs, slides, and drawings documenting the construction of the fountain at the The Muny in Forest Park. Images show construction workers building the fountain, in addition to views of the finished fountain. Several images show the fountain covered in snow. One architectural drawing dated February 1972 shows several conceptual views of the fountain. The fountain was designed by donor Robert Smith.
