Scope and Contents
Collection consists primarily of programs for various St. Louis theaters, collected by Arthur Emanuel Miller while courting Julia. The description of the folder items includes the date, the name of the production, and the principal actors, whenever such information was listed on the programs.

Biographical Sketch
Arthur Emanuel Miller was born in July 1859 in Michigan. He married his wife Julia in 1883 in St. Louis, Missouri. In St. Louis, Miller worked as a wallpaper hanger before moving with his wife to Crawford County, Kansas, around 1920.
