Biographical Sketch
Joan Lipkin is the founder and artistic director of That Uppity Theater and the Disability Project. She is also an activist who has worked on many issues related to the LGBTQIA+ and disability communities, as well as issues of racism and rights of voters. As it relates to politics, she worked tirelessly to get Hillary Clinton elected in 2016, traveling around the country with the campaign to get people registered to vote.
