The Jeanette Mott Oxford Photograph Collection contains 12 photographs documenting Mott Oxford’s service as State Representative in the Missouri legislature. She represented the 59th district from 2004 until term limits forced her to leave in 2011 and was the first openly lesbian representative in the Missouri State Legislature. Photographs show Mott Oxford speaking at various events, including a 2005 debate on Medicaid; participating in a small meeting; and posed for group portraits.
