The diary contains the ordnance stores records maintained by Capt. Robert. C. Bradshaw of Company A, 25th Regiment, Missouri Volunteer Infantry from April 8, 1862, to January 14, 1864. There are twenty-nine pages of text that record quantities of equipment issued to and turned in by Company A.
