Private papers, correspondence, newsletter, printed matter, and newsclippings related to the career of Judge Cloyd, especially his civic activities in connection with the St. Louis Council on Human Relations and the early stages of desegregation of St. Louis swimming pools, 1950-1951. Also includes materials relating to student activities, military service, legal and judicial career and other civic involvements, 1938-1984.
