Scope and Contents Officer James Condon’s police notebook dates from April 1885 to April 1887. The notebook, which has been disbound, is a daily record of Condon’s activities as a policeman. The entries record various arrests with names of offenders, attendance at court for specific cases, various nuisances (e.g. water closets, sewers), and reports including dead animals and needed street repairs.
