The entries record various arrests with names of offenders, attendance at court for specific cases, various nuisances (e.g. water closets, sewers), and reports including dead animals and needed street repairs. Condon first served in the 4th police district and on 23 June 1885, he transferred to the 3rd district. Condon even notes his days off.
