Scope and Contents

The Dr. Sudha J. Sagar Collection contains photographs documenting Sagar's family, both in Chennai, India (formerly known as Madras) and in the United States. Photographs show Sagar; her husband, Dr. Satya Sagar; her daughter, Usha; her parents, Sivarama Sastry and Rajeswaram Vepa; her grandparents; and other friends and family. Photos include formal and informal photos of individuals and groups. Photos show individuals wearing pieces of clothing that were also donated to MHS.

Scope and Contents The Shew and Yee Family Photograph Collection contains 10 prints made from scanned files, one notecard, and one scanned file. The colleciton documents two Chinese immigrant families in St. Louis' Chinatown, also known as Hop Alley. Two of the prints contain two images each, for a total of 14 images. Scope and Contents

This collection houses copyright statements for her sheet music compositions and books she authored. It also contains loose chorus sheet music from her operetta, Watouska, or the White Lily with notes for specifying the vocal parts. It also contains other loose sheet music that she composed. It contains the hard-bound copies of her operetta, cloth-bound with gold fore-edges as well as her original manuscript composer's score.
