Scope and Contents

The collection contains five programs and two tickets arranged chronologically from 1940 to 1946, from the 9th annual recital to the 15th annual recital. There are no programs from 1941 or 1942. Each recital was held at the Maplewood Masonic Temple. The programs list all musicians by name, instruments played, the selections performed, and mention the weekly Sunday morning Garner Family performance on KXOK and goods sold in the store. The 1940 program also lists the teachers.

Scope and Contents The collection contains music ephemera collected by Dorothy Lefler Sitton dating from 1937 to approximately 1965. The earliest items bear the name Dorothy Lefler; a later item dated after 1947 is inscribed “Dorothy Sitton.” The collection is arranged chronologically.
