Letter of Hazzel Lukas to Dear Miss Parrish. Louis Untermeyer’s letters from Sara have been turned over to the Univ. of Buffalo’s Lockwood Memorial Library. It is impossible to read Sara’s letters to Untermeyer and still deny that they were good friends. She had a vibrant personality and a wonderful sense of humor. Filsinger (1914-1931) relating to her work and personal life, often written while Ernst was traveling around the world for business. She discusses her health, works in progress, her publications, friends and family, and her thoughts on contemporary poets.
