The Original Papers (Boxes 1-3) consist mainly of correspondence of Sara Teasdale to her husband Ernst B. Filsinger (1914-1931) relating to her work and personal life, often written while Ernst was traveling around the world for business. She discusses her health, works in progress, her publications, friends and family, and her thoughts on contemporary poets.
