- Sara Teasdale Papers | <emph render="bold">Original Papers</emph> | Letter signed Sara Teasdale, Santa Barbara, to Ernst Filsinger, London. Letter #43. Harpers accepted “Lovely Chance.” When you return we can get selection ready for the American Miscellany. I am now charging musicians $10 for permission. Rupert Hu has offered $25.00 for exclusive rights…I won’t sell exclusive rights to anybody—this year I have had four requests for the one lyric “Twilight.” Marguerite [Wilkinson’s] letter saying that the [William Butler] Yeatses are coming out here sent me to the proprietress, but the place is filled. Mr. Warren, owner of the hotel, has installed a telescope for me. I wish you were here to enjoy it. Persons mentioned: Mamie [Teasdale Wheless] and Louis [Untermeyer?]. (with envelope) (Gift of Mrs. Ernst Wetteroth, February 9, 1960), 1920 Feb 24
