The collection consists of programs and brochures for the Annual National Ragtime Festival and various other ragtime music events in St. Louis. Items date from 1982 to 1992 and are arranged chronologically. There are tickets and several programs for the Annual National Ragtime Festival at the Goldenrod Showboat. The other programs are for various ragtime performances in the area: Sugar Babies (MUNY Winter Series at The Fox Theatre), the Ragtime Heritage Festival at Union Station, and the CASA in Concert series (The St. Louis Conservatory and Schools for the Arts). A Program for the Connecticut Traditional Jazz Festival is the only item not from St. Louis, but one Midwestern band played at the event, The Red Rose Ragtime Band from Long Grove, Illinois.
