The collection contains political correspondence and subject files relating to Schramm's tenure as a Missouri state representative, 1965-1972. Topics relate to his service on the judiciary and educational committees, and social reform issues of the late 1960s including abortion legislation, air and water pollution control, housing, government reorganization, and aid to the elderly. Also includes material regarding his bid for lieutenant governor in 1972.
