Letter signed John G. Russell, Springfield, Mo., to George W. Parker, Oak Hill Station, St. Louis. As the last letter received from you contained a deed for Pauline and myself to sign to a piece of property, $1,000 was cash and $100 paid in 30 days, I have been expecting a check from you for some time for her portion. I have three business buildings here vacant, and my income is small. If she has anything coming to her, she ought to have it, and if not, she can’t expect it. I have not heard from St. Louis lately and do not know if the O.H. Imp. Co. is doing anything or not. Do you think if I put Pauline’s and the children’s property there in the hands of a good real estate man, he could dispose of it at a fair figure? Family news., 1891 Apr 28
