Letter signed James Douglass, Lexington, Ky., to Mr. Parker. We landed here the twenty-third and have got our mules[?] in pasture. You can reach us at Mr. Chiles’s tavern here at any time. Times are dull in Ky., nothing lively but politics. I want you to make the sale without fail I have with Mr. Shackleford. I want the money. I am about to make a trade, and if I do I will want the money before the 15th of September. Mr. Ward is well and sends his respects. Places mentioned: Winchester and Harrisburg., 1827 June 29
