Letter signed Duff Gear [Green], Washington City, to Lemon Parker. Yours on the subject of the road from Rocheport to Franklin was forwarded to me at this place. I have made a report and diagram of the route to the Postmaster General and expect to be authorized to carry the mail on that route about the 1st of May, but as it is intended to send the mail with increased rapidity to Franklin, it will depend upon the condition of the road. I rely upon you to attend to this matter., 1826 Mar 2
