Letter signed Sarah, Lexington, to My Dear Henry [von Phul], Louisville. Gov. Howard called yesterday to see you. He expressed solicitude on your account. It is said he has sent in his resignation. Of course he did not want to go to St. Louis at all. I have heard of your plan of arming your boat, but you cannot reasonably hope the danger will cease on your arrival., [1814] Mar 11
