Letter signed Lyman C. Draper, State Historical Society of Wisconsin, Madison, to John F. Darby. Asks if Darby has a spare copy of his article in the St. Louis Republican of last October 13 on the King’s Mountain battle. Draper is preparing a volume on King’s Mountain, and has been collecting material on it for 40 years. Inquires about Darby’s grandfather. Mentions certain participants in the King’s Mountain battle.
