Letter signed S.S. Fraser, Office of County Treasurer, Georgetown, S.C., to John F. Darby, 222 Pine St., St. Louis. It came to mind to have Darby’s article from the St. Louis Republican republished in some of the South Carolina state papers, and to supplement it with a series of articles on the importance of pushing through the Georgetown railroad. Discusses railroad routes and financing of railroad construction. Can Darby point out a level-headed influential railroad man to advise? [filed in 1879 Jan-Aug], 1879 Aug 11
