Of interest is a letter to George Seibel for Kessler's first house payment (November 4, 1905), notes on the sale of 51 Vandeventer Place to Kessler (April 16, 1913), an itemized account of repairs (May 14, 1913), a notice for the annual meeting of lot owners and the annual report of the Advisory Committee of Vandeventer Parks (January 17, 1916), and a copy of a case brought by Vandeventer Place Treasurer Thomas M. Pierce and its residents against St. Louis Union & Trust Co. protesting the use of two "dwelling" residences as a hospital and boarding house (June 9, 1922).
