Farlington, H.H. Hunnewell Tree Plantation: Correspondence with H.H. Hunnewell, his son Walter Hunnewell, Plantation Superintendent A. Throndson, plantation tenant and worker An. Krog, Hunnewell's secretary H.S. Ruggles, Thomas H. Douglas, R. Douglas' Sons Wakegan Nursery, and U.S.D.A. Mississippi Valley Laboratory Director Dr. Herman Von Schrenk with suggestions for pruning the Catalpa trees. Of interest is a letter to Walter Hunnewell about land value for taxation purposes (December 4, 1901) and a report by Dr. Von Schrenk on "Diseases of Catalpa and Conditions of Farmington Catalpas."
