Grand Canyon National Monument: Correspondence with Fred Harvey; U.S.D.A. Forester James B. Adams; J. Hubert Fleming; General Manager of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company A.G. Of interest is a letter from Adams stating that the president had signed a proclamation creating the Grand Canyon National Monument (January 24, 1908), a memo regarding the "Formation of Crust of Earth at Grand Canyon, Arizona,” and a letter from the U.S. Senate about H.R. 2258, which grants right-of-ways to the Grand Canyon Scenic Railroad Co.
