Of interest is a letter from Fred Gabelman about a British and American aviation show that attracted an estimated 200,000 people and the subsequent traffic jams on all roads leading to the park (August 29, 1918), letter from W.H. Dunn detailing the loss of the Swope Park Barn due to fire (July 23, 1913), and an undated letter from H.B. Swope. (One sketch in OVERSIZE.)
