Letter signed Flora Byrne, Byrnham Wood, to My dear Eliza [Mrs. Charles F. Mayer, Franklin Street, Baltimore, Maryland]. Our dear little Lizzie is gone. She died yesterday during a convulsion. Jamie and Annie both have the measles. It is so hard to bear and there is no one to come in and say they grieve for us. Individuals mentioned include Eliza, Lizzie, James Edmond, and Annie.
