Letter signed Flora Byrne, Byrnham Wood, to My dear Boys [Mrs. Mayer, Franklin Street, Baltimore, Maryland]. I feel that occasionally you boys must have something more tangible than news of my health and I do not want you to forget that there is somebody in the west who is deeply interested in your advancement. I wish you, Frank, could draw me a pretty Gothic structure and I’d give you your 7% in butter and cream. Tells Charley about little pony, Kate, who would take him over prairie for long rides. Also mentions Lewis and Alfred. Individuals mentioned include Mother, Charley, Mr. Fletcher, Dr. Byrne, Lewis, Alfred, Kate, Annie, Margaret, Lapsly, Nancy, Audumtla, Blossom, Cherry, Fair Star, Pink, James, and Frank.
