Scope and Contents The collection is comprised mostly of correspondence with newspaper clippings, typescripts of Hale’s writings, and a few photographs. The papers are arranged alphabetically by topic and range in date from 1896 to 1927. The correspondence has several gaps between 1896 and 1926, with the largest between 1905 and 1913.
