Scope and Contents The St. Louis City Planning Agencies Collection contains photographs, negatives, printed material, original drawings and other items documenting 20th century city planning efforts and the resulting transformation of St. Louis. Scope and Contents The St. Louis Redevelopment Projects Collection documents various urban renewal and redevelopment projects undertaken in the mid-20th century. The bulk of the collection focuses on post-war projects, including demolition of Mill Creek Valley; construction of the Plaza Square Apartments; construction of a downtown viaduct; and proposals for a River Center complex on the site of Laclede's Landing.
