Scope and Contents The Gerard Connolly Collection contains photographs and negatives taken by Connolly to document the Shaw and McRee Town neighborhoods as they were prior to extensive demolition, rebuilding, and rehab in the early 2000s, resulting in what many considered to be gentrification of the area.
