Scope and Contents
The Tower Grove Pride Poster Collection contains one poster designed by St. Louis-based illustrator and designer Taylor "Tay" Tuteur (they/them) to celebrate Tower Grove Pride. The poster features a colorful and detailed illustration of the Tower Grove Pride festival. It depicts many diverse festival-goers, inspired by actual people who have attended Tower Grove Pride. Also depicted are booths, a stage with a performance underway, and two of Tower Grove Park's historic pavilions. The collection also includes Tuteur's business card.

Biographical / Historical
Founded in 2013, Tower Grove Pride is an annual LGBTQIA+ festival held in Tower Grove Park in the city of St. Louis. Tower Grove Pride is typically understood as an "independent" alternative to Pride St. Louis, which holds its festival in downtown St. Louis and relies heavily on corporate sponsorships.
