Rev. B.T. Rice: Transcript (22 pp.). Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon appointed Rev. Rice to the initial Missouri Foundation for Health board of directors in November 2000. He was senior pastor of New Horizon Seventh Day Christian Church and served on several boards of community groups in St. Louis. Rev. Rice explained how he was interviewed and appointed to the board from recommendations from Gov. William R. Ross, M.D., MPH (1958- ): Transcript DVD1 (20 pp.), Transcript DVD 2 (15 pp.). Dr. Ross joined the Foundation’s board in 2004 and served as chair; he was associate dean for diversity at Washington University Medical School and was a charter member of the St. Louis Regional Health Commission. He explained the state of the board in 2004, its recent dissent with the CAC, and his surprise that board members evaluated grant applications. She was a nurse practitioner and coordinator of the Children’s Clinical Outreach Services for Cox Health Systems in Springfield, Missouri.
