Depositions taken to establish Southwest corner of Survey 453 at instance of Thomas Howell. On February 10, 1857, Theodore Bruere, County Surveyor of Saint Charles County, went to the site and identified various landmarks and measurements, and placed a stone marked with a cross on top at the point identified by various witnesses, listed.
