Agreement between members of committee of arrangement appointed by the St. Charles Washington Temperance Society to adopt measures for a procession on February 22, 1842, signed John Orrick, L.E. Powell, P. Gill, A.D. Watson, David Knott, and Louis Genno[?]. The committee has deputed John S. Shaw to visit St. Louis to procure appropriate music for the occasion and to contract with any person he may be able to organize to come up that day. Any contract he makes is ratified.
