Bond of Charles Collins, Louis Clamorgan, and Henry Clamorgan to Richard Burlew of the City of New York for $2,080. Recites that there is represented one minor heir “to the said Estate,” a brother of Louis and Henry Clamorgan, of which child Collins is guardian. The child’s interest is represented as not to exceed 1/8th of the entire estate. It has been agreed that Collins and Charles and Louis Clamorgan will set off the minor’s portion of the estate so that Burlew shall have the lands purchased free of the minor’s interest and will before May 1, 1843, file suit to establish the validity of the Clamorgan grant and prosecute it to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary. If these conditions are met the bond will be void. , 1842 Oct 25
