Petition to assign dower and for partition by Isaac D. Beauchamp, son of Joshua Beauchamp, deceased, late of St. Charles County. At time of his death, Joshua was possessed of a tract of 225 arpents. Recites how Joshua acquired the property. At time of his death, Joshua was survived by a widow, one daughter, two sons, and four grandchildren. Joshua’s estate has been settled. Petitioner requests that commissioners be appointed to assign and admeasure her dower to Joshua’s widow and that the remainder of the property be divided among the heirs in fourths for Joshua’s three children and for the grandchildren.
