Indenture between Robert Dawson, attorney by substitution for John Waters of the heirs of Richard Jones Waters, deceased, of New Madrid County, and Robert Simpson of the county of Saint Louis. Dawson, in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the Territory of Missouri for the relief of the heirs and creditors of the Estate of Richard J. Waters, in consideration of $1,000.00 paid, conveys to Robert Simpson a certificate issued by Recorder of Land Titles, in the name of Joseph McAlpine by which it is certified that McAlpine is entitled to locate 400 arpents of public land pursuant to law.
