Petition of inhabitants of St. Charles to name their representatives. The inhabitants of St. Charles assembled in the house of Antoine Reynal and selected representatives to regulate the affairs of the village. Those selected were Antoine Reynal, Antoine Gautier, J. Bte. Hubert Lacroix pere, Louis Barrada, J. Duquette, [illegible name], and Pierre Croge. Approval of James Mackay for the representatives to exercise the power with which they are charged by the people of the village for one year.
