Letter signed William Russell to George T.M. Davis. Concerning sales of lands. I have not now time or room to speak of each item of my business in your hands…I ardently hope you have collected the balance of my judgments against Wm. Miller and against James D. Gleason’s estate…That you have forced late Sheriff Fry to sell the identical property levied on as E. Stones, as decided by the Court, or made Fry liable for the whole debt. And that you have got judgment on my attachment against Daniel Vail, and on my garnishee of John W. Chickering, and on my suit against D.A. Spaulding…When my brother James Russell comes to Alton please show him this letter., 1841 Oct 21
