Gives minute directions as to contacting them. Plans to have them come to Philadelphia. Wept at learning of the unfortunate end of his uncle, Tesson's sister, and all the others. Letter signed Chiron, St. Charles Parish, near New Orleans, to Tesson. Had the pleasure of hearing from Tesson's young brother, Desravines, not knowing he had escaped from the Cap where they parted in 1803. Desravines told him positively that his [Tesson's] mother and aunt were still alive last June. He had thought the two unfortunate ladies had been sacrificed in the massacres.
