Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection is comprised of public relations records from the Famous-Barr Company, including some records relating to the May Department Stores Company and to Macy’s, Inc. There are three series in the collection arranged alphabetically: Administrative, 1905-2007; Events, 1963-2003; and Stores, 1955-2002. The bulk of the records date from 1955 to 1994.
