Letter signed J.C. Culbertson, Cincinnati, to Mrs. Ann Biddle. Received letter from James Clemens calling my attention to two due bills given by me to late Major Thomas Biddle. Explains situation. Due bills were paid in May or June, 1831 but neglected to be taken up. We ascended the Mississippi together and the money was used to pay the troops. Send copies of letter of Tracy & Wahrendorff.
