Florence Stelzer Collection
Scope and Contents
The collection contains the following four items: (1) a photo postcard of a young girl with a cat. Written on the back of the card is “May 31, 1909. Walter Stelzer, Augusta.” (2) Souvenir booklet of Wittenberg Public School, District No. 47, Brazeau Township, Perry County, Missouri, which includes the names of the students and school board members, 1909-1910. (3) Age and school certificate of Lena Darnstaedt (born October 1, 1896), Chester Public School, Chester, Randolph County, [Illinois], filled out by her father, Martin Darnstaedt, April 22, 1912. (4) Organizational chart of the municipal government of the city of St. Louis, published by the city registrar’s office and prepared by the Government Research Institute, January 1943.
