Fehl Family Papers
Scope and Contents
The collection includes ten sketches of St. Louis residences by George Fehl III; a few pieces of stationery of the George Fehl Blue Ribbon Cigar Company; promotional booklets, programs, and handbills for theatrical performances; and a city of St. Louis automobile license issued to Lavina Fehl in 1931.

Biographical Sketch
German-born cigar manufacturer George Fehl died May 16, 1899, in St. Louis. His son George Nicholas Fehl (1874-1950) served for a time as secretary of the George Fehl Blue Ribbon Cigar Company. George Nicholas Fehl’s son George Otto Fehl (1904-1991) was an artist.
