The collection contains transcripts and tapes of original audio and video interviews conducted by Missouri Historical Society staff with Richard A. Gephardt and his associates in 2006-2007.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open for research use. The deeds of gift, release forms, and certain other items have been restricted due to containing personal information about the interviewees. The Elizabeth "Betty" Van Umm interview has been restricted for 25 years by request of Van Umm (until 2031).

Digital images from the collection may be used for private or personal use only and may not be published or reposted. The sole exception to this policy is educational use. Students may use images from this web site in classroom projects, which may be retained and used in portfolios or by the library of the school where the work was performed. Any broader, publicly accessible use requires further permission.
