Biographical Sketch
Ruth Eliot Johnson was the granddaughter of Thomas Lamb Eliot (1841-1936), a Unitarian minister in Portland, Oregon. She was the great-granddaughter of William Greenleaf Eliot, one of the founders of Washington University in St. Louis.
