Mentions that “we have sold out all the beef cattle.” Provides an account of the death of George Neff, who was found laying by the side of the railroad track about 25 miles from Fargo with his neck and back broken. It is supposed that he fell off a railroad car while attempting to steal a ride., 1877 Sept 22
