Letter signed Justus Post, America, to J.F. Darby [John F. Darby], St. Louis, Missouri. States that he wishes he had been with his friend while he was visiting in New York, as he could have introduced him to many acquaintances on the Board of Aldermen and in the insurance companies. Discusses some notes vs. W.P. Hunt [Wilson P. Hunt], which Mrs. Post [Eliza Post] was to take to Darby and which he wants to settle as the heirs are in Europe. Also wants a certificate of the legal existence of Sergeant Hall and P. Walsh as Justices of the Peace so that he may forward the document to Mr. Hapler.
